- Dean Koontz fans, I'm looking for a book he wrote just after Odd Thomas, but I can't remember the title. However, the main character is the son of bakers, and on the night he was born, his grandfather died just after he predicted 7 horrible days that his grandson would experience. On the same night, another boy was born, the son of a carnival family, the father a clown. I just can't remember the title. Anyone know?
